For external use only. Do not use over deep or puncture wounds, infections or lacerations. Consult a doctor. When using this product avoid contact with the eyes. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. |

To help prevent diaper rash, apply A & D Diaper Rash Ointment (petroleum/laolin/vitamin A&D/cod liver) to the diaper area before you have to, especially at bedtime. For minor, noninfected scrapes and burns, apply a thin layer of A & D Diaper Rash Ointment (petroleum/laolin/vitamin A&D/cod liver), using bandaging if necessary. A & D Diaper Rash Ointment (petroleum/laolin/vitamin A&D/cod liver) is for external use only. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care providers before taking A & D Diaper Rash Ointment (petroleum/laolin/vitamin A&D/cod liver). Do not use more medicine than is prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider.
