Aerobid Inhaler (not available in Canada) is prescribed for people who need long-term treatment to control and prevent the symptoms of asthma.

Do not take Aerobid Inhaler (not available in Canada) if you are allergic to Aerobid Inhaler (not available in Canada) or to any ingredient present in Aerobid Inhaler (not available in Canada).

Before using Aerobid Inhaler (not available in Canada), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you are taking any herbal products, if you are taking blood thinners if you have stomach problems if you have peptic ulcers if you have any other medical condition like liver or kidney function impairment, heart ot lung problem

Since the contents of this inhalant are under pressure, do not puncture the container and do not use or store the medication near heat or an open flame. Exposure to temperatures above 120 degrees may cause the container to explode.

Other: Abdominal pain, chest congestion, chest pain, cough, decreased appetite, dizziness, ear infection, eczema (inflamed skin with sores and crusting), fever, heartburn, hoarseness, inflamed lining of the nose, irritability, itching, loss of smell or taste, menstrual disturbances, nervousness, phlegm, rapid, fluttering heartbeat, rash, runny nose, shakiness, sinus congestion, sinus drainage, sinus infection, sinus inflammation, sneezing, swelling due to fluid retention, wheezing, yeastlike fungal infection of the mouth and throat

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Aerobid Inhaler (not available in Canada) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Aerobid Inhaler (not available in Canada) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Aerobid Inhaler (not available in Canada). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. Administration technique: Place the metal cartridge inside the plastic container. Remove the cap; inspect the mouthpiece for foreign objects. Shake the inhaler thoroughly. Tilt your head slightly and breathe out as completely as possible. Hold the inhaler upright and put the plastic mouthpiece in your mouth; close your lips tightly around it. Press down on the metal cartridge. At the same time, take a slow, deep breath through your mouth. Hold your breath as long as you can. While holding your breath, stop pressing down on the cartridge and remove the mouthpiece from your mouth.

Store Aerobid Inhaler (not available in Canada) in a dry place at room temperature between 59° - 86°F. Keep out of reach of children and pets
