Most severe: Severe breathing disorders; fainting; chest pain; memory loss; pneumonia; blood in the urine; pounding in the chest; difficulty breathing.

Most common: Headache; diarrhea; weakness; swelling; nausea; stomach pain; dizziness; pain; gas; vomiting; fever; swelling of the hands and feet; rash; hives; loss of appetite; fast heartbeat; sore throat; general body discomfort; cough; abnormal skin sensations; back pain; itching; indigestion.

Other: Flu symptoms; chills; sensitivity to sunlight; constipation; black feces; joint pain; muscle aches; leg cramps; depression; drowsiness; confusion; sleeplessness; nervousness; dehydration; runny nose; nosebleed; sinus inflammation; bronchitis; asthma; abnormal vision; ringing in the ears; double vision; difficulty urinating; hair loss; migraine; skin disease.

How should I take Agrylin (anagrelide)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Agrylin (anagrelide) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Carefully read the information provided with Agrylin (anagrelide) and reread it each time you get this prescription refilled. Agrylin (anagrelide) should be taken under close medical supervision. Agrylin (anagrelide) may cause dizziness. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Agrylin (anagrelide) may cause sensitivity to sunlight. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and other ultraviolet light. Use sunscreens and wear protective clothing until tolerance is determined. Lab tests will be required to monitor therapy. Be sure to keep appointments. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Agrylin (anagrelide). Do not stop taking Agrylin (anagrelide) without checking with your doctor. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Contact your health care provider at once if you feel you have taken too much of Agrylin (anagrelide). Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. This includes any herbal preparations or dietary supplements. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
