What is Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine) used for? |
Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine) is for the relief of symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever) in adults and children 12 years of age and older including sneezing; runny nose;itchy nose; palate or throat; or itchy, watery or red eyes. Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine) is also for the treatment of hives in adults and children 6 years of age and older.

Most severe: Nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness
|

Most common: Adults and Children 12 years of age and older (seasonal allergies): Headache; upper respiratory tract infection; back pain. Children: Headache; upoer respiratory tract infection; cough; accidental injury; fever; pain; ear infection. Adults and Children 12 years of age and older (hives): Back pain; sinus infection; dizziness; drowsiness.

Other: Abdominal pain, agitation, anxiety, back pain, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, heart palpitations, indigestion, insomnia, nausea, nervousness, respiratory tract infection, throat irritation

How should I take Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated, your age, and weight.. If you have any questions about the amount andperor frequency of Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine) may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Use with caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring mental alertness, coordination, or dexterity. Do not use alcohol and other mental depressants (eg, narcotics, tranquilizers, antihistamines) while you are taking Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine). Do not take Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine) close in time with aluminum- or magnesium-containing antacids. Do not stop taking Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine) without checking with your doctor. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Allegra 24hours (fexofenadine). Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.
