Anexsia (not available in Canada) may make you drowsy when you first start taking it or change doses. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental alertness until you know how Anexsia (not available in Canada) affects you. Do not sit or stand up quickly. This reduces the risk of dizzy or fainting spells. These effects may be worse if you are an older patient. The drowsiness should decrease after taking Anexsia (not available in Canada) for a couple of days. If you have not slept because of your pain, you may sleep more the first few days your pain is controlled to catch-up on missed sleep. |

Most severe: Chest pain or irregular heartbeat, difficulty breathing, wheezing, severe rash, cold, clammy skin, unusual weakness, fever, chills, muscle aches and pains

Most common: Constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, gas or heartburn, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, itching, flushing, pinpoint pupils

How should I take Anexsia (not available in Canada)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Anexsia (not available in Canada) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Anexsia (not available in Canada) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Anexsia (not available in Canada). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. To reduce unpleasant effects on your throat and stomach, take Anexsia (not available in Canada) with a full glass of water and never just before lying down. You may also take it with food or milk.
