For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Exercise care when applying this cream to the face. Discontinue use if a sensitivity reaction occurs or if excessive irritation develops. Keep out of the reach of children. |

How should I take Anthralin (not available)?
|
How much medicine you use and how often you use it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Anthralin (not available) you are using, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop using Anthralin (not available) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before using Anthralin (not available). Do not use more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not use any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, use it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. For external use only. Keep this product out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. If irritation or sensitivity occurs, discontinue use. To prevent the possibility of staining clothing or bed linen, it may be advisable to use protective dressings. To prevent discoloration of tub/shower, always rinse the tub/shower with cool to lukewarm water immediately after washing/showering and then use a suitable cleanser to remove any deposit on the surface of the tub or shower. Contact with fabrics, plastics and other materials may cause staining and should be avoided. Always wash hands thoroughly after use. Apply sparingly only to the psoriatic lesions and rub gently and carefully into the skin. Avoid applying an excessive quantity which may cause unnecessary soiling and staining of the clothing and/or bed linen. At the end of each period of treatment, rinse the skin thoroughly with cool to lukewarm water before washing with soap. The margins of the lesions may gradually become stained purple/brown as treatment progresses, but this will disappear after cessation of treatment.
