How should I take Anucort (not available in Canada)?
|
'How much medicine you use and how often you use it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Anucort (not available in Canada) you are using, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop using Anucort (not available in Canada) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before using Anucort (not available in Canada). Do not use more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not use any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, use it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. For external use only. Keep this product out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. If irritation or sensitivity occurs, discontinue use. How to use: Wash your hands before and after using. The cream medicine may be used outside the rectal area. Put a thin layer on the affected area. Rub in gently.
The cream may also be used inside the rectum by using the plastic applicator that comes in the box. Screw the applicator to the tube of medicine. Gently insert the applicator into the rectum. Squeeze the tube of medicine. After applying the correct amount of medicine, remove the applicator from the rectum. Insert the cream into your rectum using the applicator that comes with Anucort (not available in Canada). Do not put any part of the cream container into your rectum. Follow the directions that came with Anucort (not available in Canada). Wash the cream applicator and put it back in the box.
