Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone) is used for the temporary relief of itching due to minor skin irritations, inflammation and rashes from eczema, psoriasis, insect bites, seborrheic dermatitis, soaps, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, jewellary, cosmetics and detergent.

Before using Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription medicine, nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement if you have impaired kidney or liver function, if you have heart or lung problem |

Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone) is for external use only.Do not use Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone) in the eye or for the treatment of diaper rash. Do not use any other hydrocortisone containing product while using Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone). Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. |

How should I take Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone) or change the dose without checking with your health care provider. This could have serious adverse effects. Do not use other products containing hydrocortoisone while using Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone). Stop using Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone) if if the symptoms last more than 7 days, if your condition worsens, if the symptoms clear up and come back in a few days. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream (hydrocortisone). Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.
