Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone) is used for the treatment of asthma

Do not take Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone) if you are allergic to Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone) or to any ingredient present in Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone), if you have active or quiescent pulmonary tuberculosis, or fungal, bacterial and viral infections, if you have an acute asthma attack, if you have moderate to severe bronchiectasis.

Before using Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you are taking any herbal products, if you are taking blood thinners if you have stomach problems if you have peptic ulcers if you have any other medical condition like liver or kidney function impairment, heart ot lung problem

Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone) is a preventative agent which must be taken daily at the intervals recommended by their doctor and is not to be used as treatment for an acute asthmatic attack

Other: Cataracts, which may develop after long-term use.

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. The concomittant use of other oral, nasal, or inhaled steroids may increase the chance of side effects or overdose. Avoid exposing yourself to known sources of infection. Stay away from people with chicken pox, measles, or other contagious infections. Your immune system may not be strong enough to fight off an infection while using beclomethasone inhalation. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop symptoms of an infection. Avoid items or activities that are known allergens or that make your symptoms worse. Clean areas where dust or pet fur may aggravate your condition. Shake the inhaler several times and uncap the mouthpiece. Breathe out fully. For best results, hold the inhaler 1 to 2 inches in front of your open mouth or attach a spacer to the inhaler and place the spacer in your mouth, above your tongue and past your teeth. Take a deep, slow breath as you push down on the canister. Hold your breath for 10 seconds, then exhale slowly. If you place the inhaler directly into your mouth, you may not receive the correct amount of medicine because it may be propelled onto the back of your tongue and/ or throat. If you do use the inhaler directly in your mouth, be sure that it is above your tongue and past your teeth.

Store Beclovent Inhaler (beclomethasone) in a dry place at room temperature between 59° - 86°F. Keep out of reach of children and pets
