Bromanyl (not available in Canada) is used mainly to relieve the cough due to colds, influenza, or hay fever

Do not use Bromanyl (not available in Canada) if you are allergic to this or similar medicines or to any ingredient present in Bromanyl (not available in Canada).

Before using Bromanyl (not available in Canada), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you are taking any herbal products, if you are taking blood thinners if you have stomach problems if you have peptic ulcers if you have any other medical condition like liver or kidney function impairment, heart ot lung problem, alcohol abuse (or history of), anemia, gout, hemophilia or other bleeding problems, stomach ulcer or other stomach problems, brain disease or injury, colitis, convulsions (seizures), diarrhea, gallbladder disease or gallstones, cystic fibrosis, diabetes mellitus, emphysema, asthma, or chronic lung disease (especially in children), slicylate-containing medicine may cause an allergic reaction in which breathing becomes difficult, enlarged prostate, urinary tract blockage, glaucoma, heart or blood vessel disease, high blood pressure, and thyroid disease

Do not take more of it and do not take it more often than recommended on the label, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. To do so may increase the chance of side effects. Bromanyl (not available in Canada) may cause some people to become drowsy, dizzy, or less alert than they are normally. Make sure you know how you react to Bromanyl (not available in Canada) before you drive, use machines, or do anything else that could be dangerous if you are dizzy or are not alert.

Other: Unexplained sore throat and fever; unusual tiredness or weakness; yellow eyes or skin

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Bromanyl (not available in Canada) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Bromanyl (not available in Canada) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Bromanyl (not available in Canada). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. To help loosen mucus or phlegm in the lungs, drink a glass of water after each dose of Bromanyl (not available in Canada) , unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Bromanyl (not available in Canada) may cause dryness of the mouth. For temporary relief, use sugarless candy or gum, melt bits of ice in your mouth, or use a saliva substitute. However, if your mouth continues to feel dry for more than 2 weeks, check with your medical doctor or dentist. Continuing dryness of the mouth may increase the chance of dental disease, including tooth decay, gum disease, and fungus infections

Store Bromanyl (not available in Canada) in a dry place at room temperature between 59° - 86°F. Keep out of reach of children and pets
