Most severe: Fever; chills; sore throat; unusual bleeding or bruising; shortness of breath; dry cough; swelling of feet or lower legs; mental confusion; yellowing of skin or eyes; vision changes.

Most common: Nausea; vomiting; loss of appetite; hair loss.

Other: Stomatitis, alopecia, anemia

How should I take CeeNU (Lomustine)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated, your age, and weight. If you have any questions about the amount andperor frequency of CeeNU (Lomustine) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Lab tests will be required to monitor therapy. Be sure to keep appointments. There may be two or more different types and colors of Capsule in the container dispensed by your pharmacist. Be sure that you are taking the correct one. CeeNU (Lomustine) is given as a single dose and is not repeated for at least 6 weeks. Nausea and vomiting usually last less than 24 hours, although loss of appetite may last for several days. If any of the following reactions occur, notify your doctor: Fever, chills, sore throat, unusual bleeding or bruising; shortness of breath; dry cough; swelling of feet or lower legs; mental confusion; yellowing of skin or eyes. Do not stop taking CeeNU (Lomustine) without checking with your doctor. Do not take more medication than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking CeeNU (Lomustine). Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor.

How should CeeNU (Lomustine) be stored?
|

Store CeeNU (Lomustine) at room temperature in well closed containers. Avoid temperatures over 104 degrees F, direct light and moisture. |
