How should I take Cetapred (not available in Canada)?

How much medicine you use and how often you use it depend on many factors such as the extent and severity of eye infection. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Cetapred (not available in Canada) you are using, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop using Cetapred (not available in Canada) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before using Cetapred (not available in Canada). Do not use more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not use any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, use it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. How to Use Cetapred (not available in Canada): Follow the directions for using Cetapred (not available in Canada) provided by your doctor. Cetapred (not available in Canada) may be used around the eye or in the eye. To use Cetapred (not available in Canada) in the eye: first, wash your hands. Pull the lower eyelid away from your eye to form a pouch. Squeeze a thin strip of ointment into the pouch. After using Cetapred (not available in Canada), gently close your eyes and keep them closed for 1 to 2 minutes. Wash your hands to remove any medicine that may be on them. Wipe the applicator tip with a clean, dry tissue. To prevent germs from entering Cetapred (not available in Canada), do not touch the applicator tip to any surface, including the eye. Store Cetapred (not available in Canada) at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep the container tightly closed. To clear up your infection completely, continue using Cetapred (not available in Canada) for the full course of treatment even if you feel better in a few days.
