Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc) is used to treat infections caused by certain bacteria.

Do not take Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc) if you are allergic to any ingredient in Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc) or to similar medications.

Before using Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you are taking blood thinners if you have stomach problems if you have peptic ulcers if you have any other medical condition like liver or kidney function impairment or heart problem

A very small percentage of patients treated with Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc) experience headache or itching. If you have sensitivity to either ciprofloxacin or hydrocortisone—or if you have ear tubes or perforated eardrum—tell your doctor. You should also notify your doctor if symptoms do not improve in 7- 10 days or if you believe you are experiencing side effects.

Other: Confusion, tremors, depression, difficulty breathing, hallucinations, hives, increased sensitivity of skin to sunlight, muscle, tendon and joint pain, symptoms of severe allergic reaction

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. taken two hours before or six hours after taking these products. Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc) should not be taken with dairy products (such as milk or yogurt) or calcium-fortified juices alone; however, ciprofloxacin may be taken with a meal that contains these products. Take your doses at regular intervals. Do not take Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc) more often than directed. Finish the full course prescribed by your prescriber or health care professional even if you think your condition is better. Do not stop taking except on your prescriber's advice.

Store Cipro HC Otic (ciprofloxacin/hc) at room temperature in a cool dry place, protect from heat and light. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children and pets.
