Combivent Inhaler (ipratropium/salbutamol) is prescribed for people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who are using a medicine that is not effective any more.

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. Combivent Inhaler (ipratropium/salbutamol) can aggravate glaucoma (high pressure in the eye), prostate enlargement, and urinary difficulties. The albuterol it contains can cause problems for people with epilepsy, diabetes, or an overactive thyroid. If the aerosol gets in your eyes, it can cause eye pain or discomfort, blurred vision, visual halos, colored images, or high pressure in the eye.
