Damason (not available in Canada) is used used to prevent or relieve moderate to severe pain.

Do not use Damason (not available in Canada) if you are allergic to this or similar medicines or to any ingredient present in Damason (not available in Canada), if you have chickenpox or influenza, or a history of blood or clotting disorders.

Before using Damason (not available in Canada), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you are taking any herbal products, if you are taking blood thinners if you have stomach problems if you have peptic ulcers if you have any other medical condition like liver or kidney function impairment, heart ot lung problem,

Use of Damason (not available in Canada) is not recommended if you have chickenpox or influenza, or a history of blood or clotting disorders. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about using Damason (not available in Canada).

Other: Excessive drowsiness, confusion, rash, itching, vomiting, diarrhea, bloody or black stools, sweating, ringing in the ears, or hearing loss.

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Damason (not available in Canada) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Damason (not available in Canada) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Damason (not available in Canada). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. Do not drive, operate machinery or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to Damason (not available in Canada). Using Damason (not available in Canada) alone, with other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous tasks. Damason (not available in Canada) contains aspirin which has been linked to Reye's syndrome. Do not give Damason (not available in Canada) to children or teensgers during or after chickenpox, flu, or other viral infection without checking with your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist for more information. Damason (not available in Canada) may cause stomach bleeding. If you drink alcohol on a daily basis, do not take Damason (not available in Canada) without first discussing it with your doctor. Alcohol use combined with Damason (not available in Canada) may increase your risk for stomach bleeding. Before you begin taking any new medicine, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any medicine that contains aspirin or salicylate.

Store Damason (not available in Canada) in a dry place at room temperature between 59° - 86°F. Keep out of reach of children and pets
