Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) is used to replace testosterone in men who have conditions caused by low testosterone levels due to castration (removal of testes). It is also used to treat impotence (erectile difficulty, or the inability to attain or maintain an erection) and other male sexual problems when they are due to low testosterone levels.

Do not take Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) if you are allergic to any ingredient in Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) or to similar medications, if you are using blood thinning medication

Before using Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condition like heart disease, lung disease, impairment of kidney or liver functions, if you have a history of heart attack or heart disease (coronary artery disease).

Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) may increase the risk of bleeding in people who use anticoagulant or blood-thinning medications.

Other: Breast enlargement, low sperm count

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) may increase triglycerides in the blood. Caution should be used when Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) is taken by people who have a history of heart attack or heart disease (coronary artery disease). Your doctor may check your cholesterol while you are taking Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship). Fluid retention (edema) can be a serious complication with Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) for people with certain types of heart, kidney, or liver disease. The use of other medications such as adrenal steroids or ACTH may worsen fluid retention. Your doctor may recommend decreasing salt in your diet. If swelling continues, the dose of Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) may be reduced, or the therapy may be stopped.

Store Delatestryl (controlled, not able to ship) at room temperature in a cool dry place, protect from heat and light. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children and pets.
