Before using Echinacea w/ Goldseal (echinacea/golden seal), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription medicine, nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement if you have impaired kidney or liver function, if you have heart or lung problem if you have severe systemic illness (especially tuberculosis (TB), diabetes or HIV infection), an autoimmune disorder (including multiple sclerosis (MS), lupus or rheumatoid arthritis), or allergies to sunflowers or daisy-like flowers. |

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Echinacea w/ Goldseal (echinacea/golden seal) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Echinacea w/ Goldseal (echinacea/golden seal) can be taken with or without food. Do not stop taking Echinacea w/ Goldseal (echinacea/golden seal) or change the dose without checking with your health care provider. This could have serious adverse effects. Pregnant or lactating women should consult a health care provider before using any product. Consult health care provider before use if you have or have had a severe systemic illness (especially tuberculosis (TB), diabetes or HIV infection), an autoimmune disorder (including multiple sclerosis (MS), lupus or rheumatoid arthritis), or allergies to sunflowers or daisy-like flowers. Discontinue use and consult your health care provider if any adverse reactions occur including gastrointestinal discomfort or allergic reactions. Limit usage to no more than eight (8) consecutive weeks and then can be resumed after two weeks. Not intended for use by persons under the age of 18.Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Echinacea w/ Goldseal (echinacea/golden seal). Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.
