Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) is for the treatment of scabies and pediculosis (lice).

Do not take Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) if you are allergic to any ingredient in Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride)

Before using Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condition

Keep Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) away from the eyes . If you should accidentally get some in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with water at once and contact your doctor. Do not use Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) on open wounds, such as cuts or sores on the skin or scalp . To do so may increase the chance of poisoning by Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride).

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount andperor frequency of Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Thoroughly massage into the skin from the head to the soles of the feet. It is not necessary to put Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) on the scalp except in children and older patients. One course of Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) will usually cure scabies. You may experience itching after treatment. This is not a sign of treatment failure. However, if living mites are seen after 14 days, retreatment is necessary. Itching, mild burning or stinging may happen with the use of Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride). If irritation continues, talk with your health care provider. Do not allow Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) to get into the eyes. If this does occur, flush with water at once. Remove Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) by washing after 6 to 14 hours. Do not stop taking Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride). Do not take more medicine than is prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.

Store Kwellada P (gamma benzene hexachloride) between 59 to 77 degrees F.
