Levo Dromoran (not available in Canada) is used in patients over 18 years of age to manage moderate to severe pain. It may also be used before surgery for pain management.

Do not take Levo Dromoran (not available in Canada) if you are allergic to any ingredient in Levo Dromoran (not available in Canada)

Before using Levo Dromoran (not available in Canada), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant if you have prostate problems if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine or dietary supplements if you have lung disease, including severe asthma if you have severe heart disease if you have head injury or increased pressure within the head if you have low blood pressure if you have kidney problems if you have liver disease if you will be having surgery on the bile duct if you consume large amounts of alcohol if you have a history of substance abuse if you have any other medical condition

Other:  Stomach pain; dry mouth; sweating; indigestion; confusion; lack of energy; abnormal dreams; nervousness; changes in personality; sleeplessness; skin discoloration; itching; hives; rash; changes in vision; double vision; dizziness or lightheadedness when sitting up or standing. Levo Dromoran (not available in Canada) may be habit-forming. Dependence and tolerance may develop.

How much medicine you take and how often it is taken depends on many factors, including the condition being treated, your age, and weight. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Levo Dromoran (not available in Canada) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Levo Dromoran (not available in Canada) may cause dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position. If fainting occurs, sit or lie down and avoid sudden changes in posture. Avoid drinking alcohol or taking other medicines that cause drowsiness (eg, sedatives, tranquilizers, antihistamines). Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. If you are taking Levo Dromoran (not available in Canada) for long-term pain, do not stop medication without consulting your health care provider for guidance. Do not take any over-the-counter or prescription medications or dietary supplements without talking with your health care provider. Patients with other medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Levo Dromoran (not available in Canada). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider.
