Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone) is used for the relief of acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, upset stomach associated with these symptoms, pressure and bloating commonly referred to as gas.

Do not take Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone) if you are allergic to any ingredient in Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone) or similar medications if you have kidney disease

Before using Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condit

Keep Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone) out of reach of children. Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone) may interact with certain prescription drugs. Do not take more than 8 tablets in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks except under the advice and supervision of a physician.

Carefully read the information provided with Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone) and reread it each time you get this prescription refilled. Take Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone) exactly as prescribed by your health care provider. Do not stop taking Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone) without checking with your health care provider. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Contact your health care provider at once if you feel like you have taken too much of Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone). Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. This includes any herbal preparations or dietary supplements. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.

Store Maalox Antigas (aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide/simethicone) at Controlled Room Temperature 68-77 degrees F. Keep the bottle tightly closed, store in a dry place.
