How should I take Mouth Kote (oral moisturizer)?
|
Mouth Kote (oral moisturizer) is a new class of oral moisturizer that creates a homogeneous layer in the mouth that has a viscosity and lubricity similar to saliva. People with dry mouth experience not only discomfort but also difficulties with eating, speaking, and sleeping, in addition to severe and rapid onset of dental caries (tooth decay). Mouth Kote (oral moisturizer) contains natural mucopolysaccharides, extracted from the Yerba Santa plant. These mucopolysaccharides mimic the glycoproteins in saliva by holding the aqueous component in contact with the epithelial cells, which protects moisture. Mouth Kote (oral moisturizer) is sugar and alcohol free with a pleasant lemon-lime taste, and is sweetened with Xylitol which has been shown to help resist the formation of dental caries. Patients with partial salivary function using Mouth KoteŽ may experience relief for up to five hours.
