Myoflex (triethanolamine salicylate) is used to relieve minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with arthritis, strains, sprains, and simple backache.

How should I take Myoflex (triethanolamine salicylate)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Myoflex (triethanolamine salicylate) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Myoflex (triethanolamine salicylate) is for or external use only. For adults and children 2 years of age and older, apply to the affected area no more than 3 or 4 times daily. Affected area may be wrapped loosely with a 2- or 3-inch elastic bandage. Consult your health care provider about using Myoflex (triethanolamine salicylate) in children under 2 years of age. Do not apply to irritated skin or if excessive irritation develops. Avoid contact with the eyes. Wash hands well after each use. If condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or clear up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use of this product and consult your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medicines without talking with your health care provider. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Myoflex (triethanolamine salicylate). If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider.
