Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine) is used in combination with rest and physical therapy to relieve mild to moderate pain of acute musculoskeletal disorders. Doctors may occasionally prescribe it for other reasons.

Do not take Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine) if you are allergic to any ingredient in Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine) you have glaucoma you have blockage of the gastrointestinal tract you have enlargement of the prostate you have urinary problems you have myasthenia gravis (severe muscle weakness)

Before using Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription medicine, or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplements if you have chickenpox, influenza, or flu-like symptoms if you have peptic ulcers if you have a blood clotting disorder if you have any other medical condition

Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine) contains ASA and therefore is not recommended for use in patients with chickenpox, influenza or flu symptoms. Do not exceed the recommended dose of Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine) without consulting your health care provider.

How much medicine you take and how often it is taken depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Contact your doctor if dry mouth, difficult urination, constipation, headache, or stomach upset persists. Contact your doctor if skin rash, itching, confusion, anxiety, or tremors occur. Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine) may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Lab tests will be required to monitor therapy. Be sure to keep appointments. Do not take any over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. This includes any herbal preparations or dietary supplements. Patients with other medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider.

Store Norgesic (orphenadrine/ASA/caffeine) below 86 degrees F. Protect from direct heat, light and moisture.
