Most common:ÿ Difficulty moving; drowsiness; sleeplessness; nausea; constipation; diarrhea; indigestion; sinus inflammation; dizziness; lightheadedness; pain; stomach pain; headache; weakness; flu syndrome; neck pain; flushing; loss of appetite; dry mouth; vomiting; swelling of hands and feet; anxiety; tremor; depression; abnormal dreams; rash; vision problems; urinary frequency; urinary tract infection.

Other: Frequent: headache, asthenia, injury accident, abdominal pain, chest pain, back pain, fever, flu syndrome, neck pain. Infrequent: enlarged abdomen, malaise, neoplasm, hernia, pelvic pain, facial edema, chills, sepsis, cellulitis, moniliasis, abscess, jaw pain, hypothermia. Rare: acute abdominal syndrome, LE syndrome.

How should I take Permax (pergolide)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Permax (pergolide) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Dizziness or lightheadedness may occur when getting up or standing too quickly from a seated or lying position. Avoid sudden changes in posture while taking Permax (pergolide). Permax (pergolide) may cause drowsiness. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Do not stop taking Permax (pergolide) without checking with your doctor. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Permax (pergolide). Do not take more medicine than is prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
