R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) is used topically for the treatment of head, pubic, and body lice.

Do not take R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) if you are allergic to any ingredient in R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide))

Before using R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine or dietary supplements if you are allergic to ragweed if you have an infestation of eyebrows or eyelashes with lice if you have any other medical condition

R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) is for external use only, harmful if swallowed, do not inhale.

R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) is for external or topical use only. Do not use near the eyes. Shake R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) well before use. Holding the can upside down, apply R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) to dry hair or other affected area. Massage until all of the hair is thoroughly wet. Allow R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) to remain on the hair for 10 minutes, but no longer. Wash the treated area thoroughly with warm water and soap or shampoo. Use a fine-tooth comb or a special lice-removing comb to help remove dead lice or their eggs from the hair. A second treatment with R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) must be done in 7 to 10 days to kill any newly hatched lice. Stop using R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) and contact your health care provider if skin irritation or infection is present or develops, or if lice infest the eyelashes or eyebrows. Do not get R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) into the eyes at any time, including when rinsing R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) from the hair. Make sure to close your eyes and protect your eyes with a washcloth or towel when rinsing R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) out of your hair. If R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) gets into the eyes, thoroughly rinse the eyes with water. Do not get R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) inside the nose, mouth or vagina. Irritation may occur. Use R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) in a well-ventilated area. Do not inhale. Patients with other medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)). Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications or dietary supplements without talking with your health care provider.

Store R&C Shampoo & Conditioner (pyrethrins (piperonyl butoxide)) between 68 to 77 degrees F. Keep away from fire or flame. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Contents are under pressure.
