How should I take Refresh Tears?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Refresh Tears you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Refresh Tears without checking with your health care provider. Do not take more medication than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Refresh Tears. Like many people who suffer from persistent dry eyes, you've tried artificial tears and found only temporary relief from your symptoms. If it seems like you are “watering your eyes” all day long and the dryness keeps occurring, you should ask your eye care professional about Refresh Tears which is the first and only eye drop to benefit all 3 layers of the tear film (the coating of moisture that lubricates and protects the surface of your eyes). This helps seal in moisture and helps prevents evaporation of existing tears for sustained comfort. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. Refresh Tears provides a revolutionary patient experience. In fact, in a clinical study, 67% of patients reported that dryness was better than with their previous drops, and 30% said that it performed as well. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.
