Robinul (glycopyrrolate) helps to treat peptic ulcer disease or irritable bowel disease by relieving spasms in your stomach and bowel.

Do not take Robinul (glycopyrrolate) if you are allergic to any ingredient in Robinul (glycopyrrolate) or to similar medications.

Before using Robinul (glycopyrrolate), tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condition like heart disease, lung disease, impairment of kidney or liver functions.

Robinul (glycopyrrolate) may lead to drowsiness and impaired concentration, which may be aggravated by simultaneous intake of alcohol or other central nervous system depressant agents. Patients should be warned not to drive a motor vehicle, operate dangerous machine

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Robinul (glycopyrrolate) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Robinul (glycopyrrolate) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Robinul (glycopyrrolate). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. Tell your prescriber or health care professional about all other medicines you are taking, including nonprescription medicines, nutritional supplements, or herbal products. Also tell your prescriber or health care professional if you are a frequent user of drinks with caffeine or alcohol, if you smoke, or if you use illegal drugs. These may affect the way Robinul (glycopyrrolate) works. Check with your health care professional before stopping or starting any of Robinul (glycopyrrolate)s. Avoid extreme heat (e.g., hot tubs, saunas). Robinul (glycopyrrolate) can cause you to sweat less than normal. Your body temperature could increase to dangerous levels, which may lead to heat stroke. Your mouth may get dry. Chewing sugarless gum or sucking hard candy, and drinking plenty of water will help. If you get constipation while receiving Robinul (glycopyrrolate), do not treat yourself. You may have a blockage in the intestine. Call your prescriber or health care professional for advice.

Store Robinul (glycopyrrolate) at room temperature in a cool dry place, protect from heat and light. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children and pets.
