Do not take Solage solution (mequinol/tretinoin) if you are allergic to any ingredient in Solage solution (mequinol/tretinoin) or to similar medications if your skin is sunburnt, if you have eczema or other inflamed or irritated chronic skin conditions if you are inherently sensitive to sunlight or taking other drugs that increase your sensitivity to sunlight. |

Solage solution (mequinol/tretinoin) is for topical use only and is not a cosmetic preparation. Do not use Solage solution (mequinol/tretinoin) around your eyes, lips, creases of the nose or mucous membranes. Solage solution (mequinol/tretinoin) may cause severe redness, itching, burning, stinging, and peeling if applied to these areas. If the product gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and contact your doctor. |

Most severe: Severe allergic reaction (rash, itching, hives, tightness in chest, breathing difficulty)

Most common: Redness, stinging, burning or irritation, peeling or itching on areas of the skin where it is applied.

How should I take Solage solution (mequinol/tretinoin)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Solage solution (mequinol/tretinoin) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Solage solution (mequinol/tretinoin) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Solage solution (mequinol/tretinoin). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.
