How should I take Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone)?
|
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone). Inform your pharmacist of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Do not atart or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies (especially to sulfites), pregnancy, or if you are breast-feeding. Follow the directions for using Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone) provided by your doctor. Before using Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone) for the first time, apply a small amount to an unbroken patch of skin and check in 24 hours for itching, blistering, or excessive redness or irritation. If these effects develop, contact your doctor as soon as possible and do not use Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone) on other areas. Wash and completely dry the affected areas. Gently rub Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone) in until it is evenly distributed. Wash your hands immediately after using Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone), unless your hands are part of the treated area. Store Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone) at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. Use Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone) regularly to receive the most benefit from it. If you miss a dose of Solaquin Forte (hydroquinone), use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not use 2 doses at once.
