How should I take Ultra Fine Lancets (lancet)?
|
Wash and dry hands. Select fingertip site slightly off center to minimize discomfort. Remove lancet cap. Squeeze fingertip with thumb of same hand to increase blood flow. With firm motion, puncture skin quickly. Apply blood to test strip, wipe fingertip with dry cotton ball or soft tissue, holding over the puncture site until bleeding stops. Place used lancet in empty, reusable household container. When container is full, seal securely and discard properly. Follow local disposal ordinance where applicable.
