Most severe: Irregular heart rhythms; other heart problems.
|
|
Most common: Weakness; headache; difficulty breathing; indigestion; nausea; dry mouth; changes in appetite; diarrhea; stomach pain; drowsiness; sleeplessness; dizziness; tremor; hand tremor; nervousness.

Other: Flu syndrome; pounding in the chest; respiratory infection; constipation; abnormal skin sensations; fainting.

How should I take Vascor (not available in Canada)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Vascor (not available in Canada) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Vascor (not available in Canada) may be taken with or without food. If nausea occurs while taking Vascor (not available in Canada), take it with meals or at bedtime. Vascor (not available in Canada) may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Lab tests will be required to monitor therapy. Be sure to keep appointments. Additional medicine (eg, potassium supplements) may be prescribed to help maintain potassium levels. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Vascor (not available in Canada) without checking with your doctor. If a sensitivity reaction occurs, contact your doctor. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Vascor (not available in Canada). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
