Most severe: Blurred vision or other change in vision; eye discharge, discomfort, dryness, or tearing; eye redness, irritation, or pain; feeling of something in the eye; itching; sore throat; stuffy or runny nose; swelling of the lining of the eyelids

Most common: Change in taste; crusting in corner of eye; dizziness, lightheadedness, or faintness; headache; increased sensitivity of eyes to light; sticky sensation of eyelids; unusual tiredness or weakness

How should I take Vexol Eyedrops (rimexolone)?
|
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of Vexol Eyedrops (rimexolone) you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking Vexol Eyedrops (rimexolone) without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking Vexol Eyedrops (rimexolone). Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. taken two hours before or six hours after taking these products. To use: First, wash your hands. Tilt your head back and, pressing your finger gently on the skin just beneath the lower eyelid, pull the lower eyelid away from the eye to make a space. Drop Vexol Eyedrops (rimexolone) into this space. Let go of the eyelid and gently close the eyes. Do not blink. Keep the eyes closed and apply pressure to the inner corner of the eye with your finger for 1 or 2 minutes to allow Vexol Eyedrops (rimexolone) to be absorbed by the eye. If you think you did not get the drop of medicine into your eye properly, use another drop. To keep Vexol Eyedrops (rimexolone) as germ-free as possible, do not touch the applicator tip to any surface (including the eye) . Also, keep the container tightly closed. Take your doses at regular intervals. Do not take Vexol Eyedrops (rimexolone) more often than directed. Finish the full course prescribed by your prescriber or health care professional even if you think your condition is better. Do not stop taking except on your prescriber's advice.
