Before using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription medicine, nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement if you have impaired kidney or liver function, if you have heart or lung problem

What special warning(s) should I be aware of when taking Acnomel Skin Tone Cream?

This medicine is for external use only. Do not use on broken skin, on large areas of the body. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Stop use and ask a health care provider if excessive skin irritation or sensitivity develops or increases.

What are the side effects of Acnomel Skin Tone Cream?

Most severe: Severe skin irritation, peeling of skin, redness

Most common: Burning, increased skin dryness, mild skin irritation

How should I take Acnomel Skin Tone Cream?

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop using this medicine without checking with your health care provider. Before application, wash affected areas with soap and water, then dry. Apply a thin coating with fingertips. Stroke on lightly; do not rub in. One or two applications daily are usually adequate. Patients with oily skin may apply more frequently. Be sure to keep appointments. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medication. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.

How should Acnomel Skin Tone Cream be stored?

Store at controlled room temperature (between 36 degrees F and 90 degrees F).
