What special warning(s) should I be aware of when taking Noritate Cream?

This medicine is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or clear up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use of this product and consult a doctor. Do not use in large quantities, particularly over raw surfaces or blistered areas. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. If condition persists or infection, rash or irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a physician. Do not use in large quantities, particularly over raw surfaces or blistered areas. Not for deep or puncture wounds or serious burns. Not for prolonged use. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

What are the side effects of Noritate Cream?

Most severe:  Allergic reaction (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; tightness in the chest).

Most common:  Application site reaction; abnormal skin sensations; swelling of the conjunctiva; worsening of rosacea; acne; dry skin.

Other:  Tingling, numbness of arms and legs; skin and eye irritation; headache; nausea; constipation.

How should I take Noritate Cream?

How much medicine you use and how often you use it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount andperor frequency of the medicine you are using, talk with your health care provider. Carefully read the information provided with this medicine and reread it each time you get this prescription refilled. Use this medicine exactly as prescribed by your health care provider. This medicine is for external use only. Do not get this medicine in or near the eyes. It is important to clean the area to be treated before applying this medicine. Apply a thin layer of this medicine to the affected area(s) after washing the area once daily or as directed by your health care provider. You may use cosmetics once this medicine has dried. Report any side effects of this medicine, including skin irritation, to your health care provider. Do not stop using this medicine without checking with your doctor. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. This includes any herbal preparation or dietary supplement. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before using this medicine. Do not use more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Contact your health care provider at once if you feel you have used too much of this medicine. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

How should Noritate Cream be stored?

Store between 68 to 77 degrees F. Keep the tube tightly closed between applications
