Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine or similar medications if you have other skin infections like herpes, tuberculosis or fungal skin infection

Before using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condit

What special warning(s) should I be aware of when taking Neo-Medrol/Neomycin/methyl prednisolone/aluminum chlorhydroxide/sulphur?

Avoid contact of this medicine with eyes. If signs of irritation or sensitivity develop, application should be discontinued. As with any antibiotic containing product, overgrowth by resistant organisms may occur, particularly monilia. If this occurs, discontinue treatment and institute appropriate measures.

What are the side effects of Neo-Medrol/Neomycin/methyl prednisolone/aluminum chlorhydroxide/sulphur?

Most severe: Allergic reaction

Most common: Burning sensation, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions, allergic contact dermatitis, laceration of the skin and hypopigmentation.

How should I take Neo-Medrol/Neomycin/methyl prednisolone/aluminum chlorhydroxide/sulphur?

If extensive areas are treated or if the occlusion technique is used, the possibility exists of increased absorption of the corticosteroid and suitable precautions should be taken. The prolonged use of antibiotic-containing preparations may result in overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms, particularly fungi. If new infections appear during treatment, appropriate therapy should be instituted.
