Before using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condition like heart disease, lung disease, impairment of kidney or liver functions.

What special warning(s) should I be aware of when taking Robaxacet/Acetaminophen/Methocarbamol?

Central nervous system depressant effects of Methocarbomol may impair the level of alertness and may impair the ability to engage in potentially dangerous tasks like operating a machinery or driving a motor vehicle.

What are the side effects of Robaxacet/Acetaminophen/Methocarbamol?

Most severe: Problems with urination, including bladder pain, pain when urinating, and frequent urination

Most common: Nausea and vomiting, stomach pain or cramps, heartburn or indigestion, diarrhea, constipation, bloating and/or gas, dizziness headache, nervousness, drowsiness, fever, lightheadedness, ringing in the ears, nasal itching

Other: Anemia, black tarry stools, blurry vision, stomach or duodenal ulcer, vomit that looks like coffee ground.

How should I take Robaxacet/Acetaminophen/Methocarbamol?

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking this medication without checking with your health care provider. Do not take more medication than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medication. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. Whether you have recurring back pain or just an occasional bout, there's no doubt about it - back pain can be excruciating. When it happens to you, a maximum two or three days of bedrest usually works better than long-term bedrest. Activity, increased gradually, actually causes pain to decrease! While you are resting, lie on your stomach, at least some of the time. This position extends your back. (If this position worsens your pain, as it may for individuals with facet joint syndrome or spinal stenosis, STOP AND CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR.) The rest of the time, find a neutral position on your side or on your back and place a couple of pillows under your knees. Avoid twisting and reaching for things; this can strain your back more. If stomach upset occurs, take with food. This medicine can cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Avoid alcohol and other medicines (sedatives, tranquilizers) that cause drowsiness. Do not stop taking this medicine without checking with your health care provider.
