Drug Description:

This medication is used in patients with diagnosed neurosensorial hearing loss or tinnitus due to otospongiosis.Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Protect from direct heat and light. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination or physical dexterity. Avoid alcohol and other medicines that may cause drowsiness (such as benzodiazepines, baclofen) while you are taking this medicine. Inform your health care provider if you are taking an oral contraceptive. Your health care provider may have to adjust the dose of this medicine. Lab tests or exams may be required to monitor treatment. Be sure to keep appointments. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medication. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider.
