Drug Description:

This medicine is used for the temporary prevention of itchy eyes due to allergies in patients 3 years of age and older.Store between 39 and 77 degrees F. Keep bottle tightly closed when not using.How much medicine you use and how often you use it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are using, talk with your health care provider. Carefully read the information provided with this medicine and reread it each time you get this prescription refilled. Use this medicine exactly as prescribed by your health care provider. This medicine is to be applied into the eye. Do not inject it or take it by mouth. Do not allow the dropper tip to touch the eyelids or the surrounding areas as it may contaminate the solution. Do not wear contact lenses if your eye is red. Do not use this medicine to treat irritation caused by contact lenses. If you wear soft contact lenses and your eyes are not red, wait at least 10 minutes after placing this medicine into the eye before putting your contact lenses back into your eyes. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before using this medicine. Do not stop using this medicine without checking with your health care provider. Do not use more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Contact your health care provider at once if you feel you have used too much of this medicine. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. This includes any herbal preparations or dietary supplements. If a dose is missed, use it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider.
