Drug Description:

This medicine is for the relief of symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever) in adults and children 12 years of age and older including sneezing; runny nose;itchy nose; palate or throat; or itchy, watery or red eyes. This medicine is also for the treatment of hives in adults and children 6 years of age and older.Store at room temperature (68 to 77 degrees F). Protect from direct heat, light and moisture.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated, your age, and weight.. If you have any questions about the amount andperor frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. This medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Use with caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring mental alertness, coordination, or dexterity. Do not use alcohol and other mental depressants (eg, narcotics, tranquilizers, antihistamines) while you are taking this medicine. Do not take this medicine close in time with aluminum- or magnesium-containing antacids. Do not stop taking this medicine without checking with your doctor. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider.
