Drug Description:

This medicine is used for temporary relief of muscle and joint pain associated with arthritis, simple backaches, sprains, and strains. This medicine is also used for the temporary relief of the pain (neuralgia) associated with and following episodes of herpes zoster infections after open skin lesions have healed.Store at controlled room temperature (59 to 86 degrees F). Close cap tightly after use.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. This medicine is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth. Wash hands with soap and water immediately after applying. If condition worsens, or if symptoms persists for more than 7 days, or clear up and occur again within a few days, stop use of this product and contact your health care provider. Do not apply to wounds or damaged, broken, or irritated skin. Do not bandage tightly. Do not use with a heating pad. Do not stop taking this medication without checking with your health care provider. Do not take more medication than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medication. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicineBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical conditionThis medicine is for external use only.
