Description

Drug Description:

This medicine is used to treat skin infections resulting from injury (up to 10 cm in length or 100 cm squared in area) due to certain bacteria.Store at or below 77 degrees F. Do not freeze. Protect from heat and lightHow much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. This medicine is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. The treated area may be covered by gauze dressing if desired. If irritation, severe itching, or rash occurs, the medicine should be stopped. Report these and any other side effects to your doctor. If no improvement is seen in 3 to 5 days, contact your doctor. This medicine is safe for children. Follow the directions given to you by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine without checking with your doctor. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor.
