  • This medication may cause dizziness. Avoid alcohol or marijuana, as they can enhance this effect. Refrain from activities requiring alertness until you can do them safely.
  • Be cautious with potassium levels. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium.
  • If you are nearsighted or wear contact lenses, you may experience vision problems. Consult your eye doctor if needed.
  • This medication may lead to blotchy, dark areas on the face and skin. Sun exposure can worsen this effect, so limit time in the sun, avoid tanning booths and sunlamps, and use sunscreen and protective clothing.
  • Avoid smoking or using tobacco while taking this medication, especially if you are older than 35, as it increases the risk of stroke, blood clots, high blood pressure, and heart attacks.
  • Inform your doctor if you’ll undergo surgery or prolonged periods of sitting or lying down, as special precautions may be necessary due to an increased risk of blood clots.
  • This medication is not suitable for use during pregnancy. Notify your doctor immediately if you become pregnant.
  • Small amounts of the medication may pass into breast milk, potentially affecting its quality and quantity. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
