Drug Description:

This medicine is used to treat athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm.Store between 36 and 86 degrees F.How much medicine you use and how often you use it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated, your age, and weight. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are using, talk with your health care provider. Carefully read the information provided with this medicine and reread it each time you get this prescription refilled. Use this medicine exactly as directed by your health care professional. This medicine is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Cleanse skin with soap and water. Dry completely. Apply a thin layer over the affected area morning and evening or as directed by your doctor. For athlete’s foot, pay special attention to spaces between the toes. Wear well-fitting, ventilated shoes and change shoes and socks at least once daily. Do not use in children under 2 years of age without consulting a physician. If irritation occurs or if symptoms do not improve within the recommended number of days, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Continue use until a full course of therapy has been taken. Failure to take all of the medicine may prevent complete elimination of the bacteria, allowing the infection to return. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before using this medicine. Do not stop using this medication without checking with your doctor. Do not use more medication than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Contact your health care provider at once if you feel you have used too much of this medicine. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. This includes any herbal preparations or dietary supplements. If a dose is missed, use it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor.
