Drug Description:

This medicine is used to treat sinus, skin, lung, urinary tract, ear, and throat infections. It may also be used to treat Lyme disease and gonorrhea.Store between 59 to 86 degrees F. Replace cap securely after opening. Protect from moisture.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or how often you take the medicine, talk with your health care provider. Tablet may be taken with or without food. Tablet have a strong, bitter taste. Swallow Tablet whole. Continue to use until all of the prescribed medicine has been taken. Failure to take all of the medicine may prevent complete elimination of the bacteria, allowing the infection to return. If severe diarrhea, stomach pain/cramps, nausea, vomiting or bloody stools occur, contact your health care provider at once. This could be a symptom of a serious side effect requiring instant medical attention. Do not treat diarrhea without talking with your health care provider. Diabetic patients – This medicine may interfere with tests for sugar in the urine and give false test results. Do not stop taking this medicine without checking with your health care provider. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider.
