Description

Description

Hepsera medication is a hepatitis B therapy medicine that belongs to the antiviral drug class, used to treat viral infections. This works by making it impossible for the HBV virus to replicate itself. While Adefovir does not cure hepatitis B, it does help to control the disease and reduces the risk of liver damage associated with untreated hepatitis B. This drug is used to treat hepatitis B on a long-term basis. Doctors often have patients do regular blood tests to see how effectively the medication is suppressing hepatitis B and preserving the liver.

Hepsera Cost

We are committed to providing the safest and most inexpensive pharmaceutical alternatives possible to our clients. Check out our above-mentioned prices to see how much less we charge for medications than other stores and pharmacies.

Hepsera Dosage

Hepsera 10 mg once a day, delivered orally without regard to meals, is the recommended dose for chronic hepatitis B patients 12 years of age and older with adequate renal function. The ideal treatment duration is uncertain.

Direction

  • Read any drug guides or instruction sheets and follow all guidelines on prescription labels. Follow the directions on the prescription to the letter.
  • Take your medicine at the same time every day, with or without food.
  • Do not alter your Hepsera dose or stop using this medicine without consulting your doctor.
  • Medical testing will be required on a regular basis.
  • Store at room temperature, away from moisture. Keep the pills, as well as the package or canister of moisture-absorbing preservatives, in their original container.
  • In the months after you stop taking this medicine, your hepatitis B may become active or worsen. You may require liver function tests on a regular basis while taking this medication and for several months after you stop taking it.

Side Effects of Hepsera

  • Although darkish urine, overall weariness, and weakness, light-colored feces, nausea and vomiting, upper right abdomen or stomach discomfort, or yellow eyes and skin are not typical side effects, some people may experience them. If you encounter any of these adverse effects, you should stop taking the drug and consult your doctor about other hepatitis B treatment options.

Caution

  • Before you start taking this medicine, you may need to be tested for HIV. If you’ve been exposed to HIV or if you have untreated HIV or AIDS, tell your doctor.

Frequently Asked Questions:

-How does Hepsera work on our bodies?

Hepatitis B is a virus affecting the liver and causes harm as it multiplies. This inhibits the function of an enzyme called viral DNA polymerase when taken as advised by your doctor. This substance is required for the virus to proliferate. Although this can improve liver function and lessen liver damage, it will not cure chronic hepatitis B.

-What are Hepsera drug interactions?

Hespera with other prescription drugs such as buspirone, lamivudine, adalimumab, escitalopram, loratadine, levothyroxine, atezolizumab, and telbivudine may cause drug interactions.
