Description

Drug Description:

This medicine is used to treat athlete’s foot, jock itch, and other skin infections.Store between 41 and 77 degrees F.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. For external use only. Do not use in or near the eye. Shake the bottle vigorously before each use. Gently massage the lotion into the affected and surrounding areas as directed by your health care provider. Do not cover the infected area with bandages or any other dressing. Talk with your doctor if redness, swelling, itching, burning, blistering, swelling, or oozing occurs while using this medicine. Continue use for the prescribed treatment time, even though you may start to feel better. Failure to take all of the prescribed medicine may prevent complete elimination of the fungus, allowing the infection to return. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider.
