Description

Drug Description:

This medicine is used in patients over 2 years of age to treat jock itch and to relieve itching, burning, scaling, and discomfort that can accompany this condition. It may also be used to help keep feet dry.Store at room temperature (between 59 and 86 degrees F). Do not expose to heat or temperatures above 120 degrees F. Do not puncture or attempt to burn. Do not use near fire or open flame.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. This medicine is for external use only. Avoid inhaling or spraying product in the eyes. Avoid contact with eyes or other mucous membranes. Intentional inhaling of the contents can be harmful or fatal. Clean the affected area and dry thoroughly. Shake the can well and hold 4 to 6 inches from the skin. Spray a thin layer of the product over the affected area twice daily (morning and night) or as directed by your health care provider. If jock itch persists for more than 2 weeks, contact your health care provider. This product is not effective on the scalp or nails. If irritation occurs, stop use and contact your doctor. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider.Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicineBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical conditionDo not use this medicine on children under 2 years of age unless directed by a doctor.
