Drug Description:

This medicine is used to treat moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis.Store in a dry place at room temperature between 59 – 86F. Keep out of reach of children and petsHow much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking this medicine without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. People with certain immune system problems should not use this medicine. Your doctor will do regular tests of immune system function while you are using this medication. If you develop a severe infection, contact medical help as soon as possible. People with chronic infections or those at high risk of infection should be closely monitored by their doctors while using this medication. The safety and effectiveness of this medicine for people under 16 years of age are not known. This medicine is given by intramuscular (into a muscle) injection. Most people taking this medication can be trained by a health professional to give themselves the injection. Follow the instructions from your doctor or pharmacist when mixing the medication. Do not use the injection if it appears cloudy or discoloured (it should be colourless or slightly yellow once it has been mixed), or if you see particles floating in it. Use a different site for each injection to decrease the risk of skin irritation.
