Frequently Asked Questions about Drugs from Canada

About Us

Monday to Friday-6:00am – 8:00pm PST Saturday to Sunday-7:00am – 5:00pm PST
We can supply medication to the United States, and Puerto Rico.

In addition to our Canadian dispensing pharmacy, we also dispense your medications from international pharmacies and dispensing facilities that are approved by regulatory bodies from their respective jurisdictions. We only affiliate with pharmacies and dispensing facilities that are certified by independent, third-party companies, CIPA and Pharmacychecker.com, who verify CanDrugStore on an annual basis. We ship products to our customers from Canada, Mauritius, New Zealand, Turkey, Australia, United Kingdom, India and the United States.

Most patients save 40-70% on prescription drugs, which can be hundreds of dollars per visit.
Our restrictions are identical to your local pharmacy, as we are bound by pharmaceutical law, which dictates that dispensed products cannot be returned. In the interest of the safety of all parties, once a prescription or non-prescription drug has been dispensed, it cannot be returned for any reason.

Generic Drugs

A generic drug must contain the same active ingredients (the specific chemical ingredients that makes the drugs work) and be equivalent in strength and dosage to the original brand-name product. Generic drugs may differ in color, flavor, or binding. By choosing a generic medication, you can save a significant amount of money.

We offer brand name and generic medications that undergo rigorous quality tests and pass exceptionally high manufacturing standards. While some medication may have a different name or appearance, the active ingredients (the contents that make the drug work) are the same as ones that can be bought from your local pharmacy.

US trademark laws do not allow a generic drug to look exactly like the brand-name drug. However, while colors, flavors and other inactive ingredients may be different, the drug must duplicate the active ingredients to produce the same medical effect.

New brand-name drugs are developed under a patent, giving the company the sole right to sell the drug during the patent period. During this time, a drug company charges more for a brand-name drug to recuperate the development costs such as research, marketing and promotion. When the patent expires, other manufacturers can begin to produce and sell generic versions of the brand-name drug. Often patents expire in other countries sooner than the United States. This phenomenon of differing patent expiry times provides consumers with opportunity to purchase their medications cheaper from Canada and other international pharmacies online.

Talk to your doctor and ask for prescriptions for generic drugs whenever possible. Less expensive generic drugs can be found through our Canadian drug store database.
