Drug Description:

This medicine is used in the eye to treat infections and to relieve the redness, irritation, and discomfort associated with certain eye problemsStore in a dry place at room temperature between 59 – 86F. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are using, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop using this medicine without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before using this medicine. Do not use more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not use any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, use it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. How to Use this medicine: Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. This medicine may be used around the eye or in the eye. To use this medicine in the eye: first, wash your hands. Pull the lower eyelid away from your eye to form a pouch. Squeeze a thin strip of ointment into the pouch. After using the medicine, gently close your eyes and keep them closed for 1 to 2 minutes. Wash your hands to remove any medicine that may be on them. Wipe the applicator tip with a clean, dry tissue. To prevent germs from entering the medicine, do not touch the applicator tip to any surface, including the eye. Store this medicine at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep the container tightly closed. To clear up your infection completely, continue using this medicine for the full course of treatment even if you feel better in a few days.Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to this or similar medicines or to any ingredient present in this medicine, if you have certain eye infections or thinning of the cornea in the eye.Before using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you are taking any herbal products, if you are taking blood thinners if you have stomach problems if you have peptic ulcers if you have any other medical condition like liver or kidney function impairment, heart ot lung problem,Do not use this medicine for other eye problems unless directed by your doctor.
